When you don't want it to leak (and you want it to last) there is only one option for underwater light construction - stainless steel! The unit starts from a piece of stainless steel that is heated to red hot and then forged into this shape - a real heavyweight, high quality underwater light for fountains and water features. Precision engineered stainless steel panels are screwed to the valve body and mounted on O-rings for a watertight seal. The pressure fitting seals the opening where the cable enters the clamp. Stainless steel construction is the best material for underwater use, especially in chlorinated and chemically treated water features where aluminum can corrode. NOTE: The luminaire must be fully submerged during all operations.
